Sharon Crompton
Managing Director
Sharon brings over 20 years of corporate leadership to CSS, having worked in forward thinking companies including British American Tobacco and British Marine Technologies. She brings a wealth of business and financial knowledge as well as industry insight to the team. Sharon joined the company in 2022 and since then has transformed the Bond and Finance teams. She has a keen eye for the detail and a focus on the bottom line for both CSS and our customers. Sharon enjoys good food and long walks at the weekends with her husband and her sausage dog Dexter.
Emma Taylor
Operations Manager
With a real nautical background, Emma started her career on the water as a fully qualified Royal Yachting Association (RYA) sailing instructor and eventually setting up a successful chandlery business at the world renowned Hayling Island Sailing Club. Her career has has had a sporting theme with roles at both Portsmouth and Brighton & Hove Albion Football Clubs where she ran the Players Academy. Emma joined the CSS team in 2018 with core responsibilities in HR & Operations. Today she works alongside Sharon to drive the business forward with integrity, trust and transparency. Emma has a penchant for fine wines & champagne and is a keen kayaker, often spotted in the waters around Chichester harbour.
